I would have thought that the deprived would have been slightly inclined towards ramming ships, as their regening armor makes it more sustainable. However, the low armor is a big problem for that strategy.

I tried: it doesn't work in sector mode. It works fine for combats/asteroids, but not for moving in sector mode.

Finding ships

I am amazed that this hasn't been brought up already: could you make it so that spacebar centers the camera on your ships? It can get slightly annoying finding your ships frequently.

I might be the only one, but I found that load times and server connection was significantly better in this last test than in the previous one. I found that the commands that I issued were carried out much faster and much more consistently than in the last test.

I did find that the asteroids felt too punishing this time around, as there is no way to que a move command in sector mode. I agree that they shouldn't be meaningless, but they should be little more than an annoyance, and a way to either lose or catch up to a fleeing fleet.

Not sure why it said years, I meant editions. I mostly just figured that they already had the code for it, so why not keep it, as it still has appeal.

This has all been quite positive. I,would like to have the option of a "classic" or "endless" survival, which is what we had for past years, as those were quite interesting to see just how far you could get.
