I would disagree, as the purpose of a game is to have interaction between players. You don't want to make it impossible to come back from a mistake, but you also want a mistake to be meaningful. The first point of yours wasn't a bug, but was intended. They mentioned it on a separate article.
As for your last, you have to use a warp get to get there. Not sure how else, but I think there should be another way. It also depends on when you get on.

I really like the idea of ramming, but feel it is slightly lackluster at the moment. You might add in engines that have exponential max speed based on amount of energy your ship provides, minus the amount being used. This would mean you could have a fast large ship, but it couldn't have weapons. You...

And now breaks quick match. It now never ends the fight, and so you never get any IGC or exp.

After the second hot fix, it no longer seems to count the game as finished when you kill you opponent, or when they surrender.
