Suggestions for improving the feel and synergy of ship hulls

Hi, i love the game, but while playing i noticed that the slots available on different ships of the same hull are quite random. basically i would like to suggest that each hull has a particular strength and weapon type that it predominantly uses. i like that fact that the possible load outs are so varied due to the variation in the number and size of different slots on most hulls. However i think it would be better both from a law point of view and a game play piont of view if particular hulls were more specialised in one area. for example one particular battle cruiser might be a predominantly faster more manoeuvrable gun ship, it would have on average more engines and engineering than other similar sized ships as well as a lot of cannon slots, while another different type of battle cruiser hull might be specialised as a missile artillery ship, having mostly missile weapons and less engineering and thruster slots. this would also make it easier for players who know the game well to tell what they are likely to be going up against when they see a curtain ship hull, this introduces an extra skill level to the game. i'm not saying that any one hull type should only ever have one kind of weapon, but they should be much more specialised than they are atm, i think this would make a big difference to the overall feel of the game.

On a side note there are also one or two hulls that i don't think fit with the overall aesthetic of their race, these are one of the eclipse dreadnoughts, and the weird crescent shaped ship from the vanguard.

However, I can't pass by "the weird crescent shaped ship" - it is Libra, the famous half-eaten donut! And, thanks to its form, it can fire at any direction ;)

I feel like the nickname "Half-Eaten Donut" is going to stick with that poor ship XD. I like it!
