Wow)
Beatiful concepts, as always) Nice work)

Merlin is pretty cool) i vote for him ;)

Nostredamus is more Battleship-like concept. Nice pair to existing Bishop.

My opinion - Nostaredamus Battleship, Merlin - Dreadnought.

We're thinking something similar. Plus we have carriers on our to-do list, so who knows~ ♪ ♫

Thank you. Would like to hear your theory though! :)

All right, and here are some Eclipse fellas. There's a bit too much yellow on Timur, but we'll probably pick a variation of it for the next dreadnought. Our capitalist buddies could use a little more RAMMING in their lives. If someone ever tells you that Starfall Tactics is about anything other than RAMMING, that person is a heretic and a deceiver.

I would like to see a large ship that moves quickly. If that was to happen, you would probably need it to have either relatively low amount of weapon area, or even none. I agree that the Timur looks really nice for that role, but I think the Centennial looks more like a ship with a lot of forward facing firepower. Basically, you should use the Timur if it is mostly intended to ram, and the Centennial if it's going to be more than just ramming.
We may not be able to predict the future, but we can certainly create it.

once again nice looking ships. I agree , Timur realy looks like a ship designed to RAM away everything it comes across, even friendlys :)

about the Deprived, I did play them in the first 2 Tests and went with Vanguard for the 3rd. SImple reason for that is that the regeneration never felt useful. Its to little to matter during combat and even outside of it it takes to long to profit from it, even in survival it felt more or less meaningless. Add the reduced capacity ontop of it which limted alot of my attempted builds in the 2nd test phase just meant that the faction felt a little meh overall. (i still like the ship designs and layouts though)
As vanguard during the 3rd test i felt much stronger right from the get go.
I dont have any numbers for it, its quite possible that those would show that deprived Regs enough in a long fight to make a diffrence.
But that doesnt change the overall feeling i had.

My guess as to why the Regen doesn't feel powerful is that it is generally more efficient to kill your ship and then warp it in later, or even run it back to the mothership. I haven't played the deprived yet, but those two worked just fine for me when I was the vanguard. It might make a difference with the bigger ships, but it would likely be a hindrance to the smaller, more expendable ships.
We may not be able to predict the future, but we can certainly create it.

regeneration never felt useful
Regen doesn't feel powerful
A valid theory, but we've had pretty low pick numbers for Deprived even on prior tests, which means the problem might lie within our very first faction choice screen and the info we display there.

Preliminaries for Merlin and Timur. We want to try a silly thing with them where we duplicate a large part of the model and spin it 90 degrees to get a plus shape. It makes the ship look absolutely massive, mixes up the boring vertical silhouette, doesn't increase the texturing cost (since it's just a duplicated detail) and polygon count was never our big headache since we've been keeping everything relatively low-poly. You can already see it on Timur, where I cloned the nose part and added some decorative supports. Could be fun! At least as an idea for hero variants.
